MONGOLIAN YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CENTRE

The MYDC is a non- governmental organisation established in 1997 and based in Ulaan Baatar. We provide educational, social, cultural and physical activities and opportunities. We also conduct surveys to establish the position of the young people in Mongolia to ensure that they receive the support and recognition they require.

The MYDC is run by a combination of permanent staff and volunteers. Volunteers are mainly drawn from Mongolian universities, although we also have a few international volunteers each year. By involving youths in the decision making process, we ensure that the MYDC addresses the issues most important to young people.

The MYDC would like to promote international relations with related organisations across the globe who have a mutual interest in volunteer based programmes, youth based projects and would like the opportunity to assist in related schemes organised in Mongolia, either directly or through donations. The MYDC organise a diverse spectrum of projects for the Youth of Mongolia by means of a volunteer work, the creation of foreign exchange programmes, and educational directives. The projects aim to broaden the horizons and prospects of those involved in the activities provided through their participation.
