Mongolian Women Lawyers Association with the
collaboration of " Soymbo" program on law and "8:
11" program on politics and information of Mongolian National
Radio broadcasting transferred the radio legal training for public
aimed to increase legal information and knowledge which was announced
the best program of 2001 that will be continued in 2002. The main
output of the broadcasting is to improve legal knowledge amongst
public and highlight their knowledge to prevent from any legal violation
and where or to whom address if there is any violation.
Futhermore we are planning to broaden the broadcasting and conduct
it in plain language for the citizens by applying different ways
such as " If you have questions", " Lawyer"s
time" and " For your legal knowledge".

Gender Sustainable Center announced the project proposal
competition amongst local NGOs within the project on Building Organizational
Capacity amongst local NGOs supported by Canadian Human Rights Foundation.
The Branch of MWLA in Sukhbaatar province has been granted which
enables permenant activities: legal counseling and legal education.

The law group reviews the Law Draft on Domestic Violence
which was developed in 1995. For this purpose MWLA collaborates
with NCAV.

Beside the legal counseling MWLA conducts the legal
training due to the order of the organizations and collegues. At
the present we are receiveing order from organizations and collegues

in order to provide with the answers for legal relevant issues for
readers.

The Manduhkai club under MWLA directs its activities
amongst law students and resently announced the call for papers
on topic: " The relevant issues on world economy and lkaw and
its impact in Mongolia" amongst law students. There will be
held conference on this topic in Fabruary 2002.
