-How to participate in the Internet interview?

   Everbody wishing to participate in the interview should type an entering name in the site “Nick” (without a password) and press “Press me to connect” button and enter to the interview room. When this page is being opened depending on your computer programme you are using, “IRC applet” (Picture#1) or a window asking if one would like to download a small programme to help for entering the chat will shown. Upon pressing “Yes” button, chat will be acessible. If you press “No” button, the page will be needed to be downloaded again.

   In order to connect to the interview by website, use only Internet Explorer 5.0 version.

-Is it necessary to have additional software programme?

   An additional software programme is not necessary. Before entering in interview room, if “IRC applet” is absent in your computer, a windo will be shown asking about a downloading the programme. (Picture#1). If you press “Yes” , your computer will automatically download the programme. You can use mIRC, Scoop and Trigger chat programmes to participate in the Internet interview.

 

How to connect to the Internet interview using mIRC, Trigger, Scoop chat programmes?

   If you would like to use chat programmes in order to participate in the interview, enter to the “Options” window (Picture#2), go to “IRC Server” and select “Edit”. Please point chat.monirc.net on the “IRC Server” and point 6667 on the “Port” and then press “OK”. To select a chat root, enter in “Channel Folders” (Picture#3), go to “Enter name of Channel to join” and type #chatzone or select #chatzone from the underneath selections and press “Join” button.

How to jointly organise an Internet chat?

   The Open Web Center is operating to encourage NGOs. We are ready to cooperate with NGOs
wishing to hold an Internet interview. If any NGO is planning to organise a chat in order to introduce their activities, research, do publicity, and attract the public by a series of chats, please contact Open Web Center, ground floor, of the Science and Information Center or contact 976-11-318149.
