Forest Land ger camp is located in the Chagin Khurakh valley of the Bogd Khan Protected Area, rich in natural beauty and historical significance. Bogd Khan mountain has always been sacred to the nomads of Mongolia. In 1778 it became the first protected area ever established in Asia. In 1997, Bogd Khan mountain was registered as a Biosphere Reserve in UNESCO's "Man and Biosphere" program. Our goal at Forest Land ger camp is to create a unique atmosphere for local and foreign visitors to one of Mongolia's most precious cultural and environmental destinations.

Our camp is nestled in a beautiful valley on the northeastern corner of the Bogd Khan mountain and is easily accessible from the capitol city, Ulaanbaatar by 29 kilometers of paved and dirt roads, approximately a 45 minute drive.

The camp is built around the traditional Mongolian tent or ger, with traditional furniture in each sleeping ger and larger (6-wall) ger for dining and meeting. Our capacity is 16 guests in 4 gers with beds, tables, chairs, wash facilities and a cozy wood stove.

In additional to the tranquility and natural beauty of the camp surroundings, guests can trek on foot or horseback through the entire protected area. Local guides are knowledgeable about the vegetation and wildlife and share insights into the traditional lives of Mongolians.

Our dining hall serves both traditional Mongolian foods (with emphasis on mutton and milk products) as well as familiar European dishes.

From the Forest Land camp, our staff can organize day trips throughout the protected area, to nearby Gorkhi Terelj Park and to visit sights of historical and archaeological interest. The capitol city of Ulaanbaatar offers museums, restaurants, performances and shopping. Airport transfers can be arranged for groups and individual guests.

Our ger camp for tourist is set in the north east of the Bogd Khan mountain, from Ulaanbaatar city in 29 km`s and 6 km`s from asphalt road.

This camp has Mongolian national gers (traditional `tent` construction) with complete traditional furniture and one 6-wall ger for dinner party and bar service. We can take in 1 time 16 guests and the guests can stay in gers which has 4 beds, 1 table, 4 stairs, a piece of sideboard and a hand-basin.

The guest can take trekking and horse riding trips in Bogd Khan mountain to identify with native landscape, to view rare vegetation and animals, and to have active time in fresh air. And also our guest can play with traditional games to build an imagine about it.

In our tourist ger camp the guest can have all kind of Mongolian traditional cuisine like white food and can also order Europien cuisine.

«Forest Land» ger camp is organizing several tours like round trips to Bogd Khan mountain, to the Nature Park `Gorkhi Terelj` and to the surrounding areas of the those protected areas like the gravestone of Tonjukuk. In those tour programs are included also transfer and the guest can travel in to natural and historical heritage sites and also to visit local nomad`s family to get present about Mongolian tradition and lifestyle.

Our ger camp is working to implement our prime goals like to establish compliant service, to grow proficiency competence of personals and to have fine relationship with customers to build pleasant environment for them.

If the foreign travel group has more then 12 person, then the ger camp would be responsible expenditures for 2 person like guide and driver, who are leading the group.
