In 2000-2002 to the
training were involved the social workers of 7 aimags situated next
to the railway and with a high number of street children (Dornod,
Selenge, Orkhon, Darkhan-Uul, Gobi-Sumber, Dornogobi, Baganuur district
of capital city).

Feature
and outcome of the training |

The professional certificates
were awarded to the trainees.
The feature of the training is that the trainees have the possibility
to use their theoretical and methodological knowledge in implementation
of different small-sized projects based on the specifics of the local
area. These include “Family”, “Mother nature”, “Family-affection”,
“Light”, and “Talent” projects.
2. Short-term training
for the social workers
The purpose of the training is to provide basic understanding
and knowlegde of social work to employees from relevant authorities
and organizations of local communities. Since 1997 were 43 short-term
training courses carried out for 1500 emplyoees at aimag and soum
levels.
