1.      Research and Documentation

• Gathering facts on human rights violations, conducting research and disseminating information

2.      Monitoring and Reporting  

• Producing an annual report on the human rights situation in Mongolia and making a recommendation 

3.      Advocacy 

• Lobbying the Government to sign and ratify international conventions, to which Mongolia is not party; and influencing in refining legislation and policies to remedy the violations

4.      Public Education 

•      Maintaining a website on human rights in Mongolia; preparing thematic book, newsletter, brochure and handbook on human rights issues and delivering human rights education lessons via radio and television

5.      Capability Building

•      Developing and implementing an organizational development strategic plan, a human resource development program, a financial plan and office management policies
