The National CEDAW Watch Network Centre organized a competition of articles and posters under the topic "Women's Rights and CEDAW Convention" on the occasion of the Mongolia's 20th anniversary of membership of the CEDAW Convention. Lawyer Mr. Batbayar.M from Sukhbaatar soum, Selenge province and journalist Mr. Mayagmarjav.B from "Hurd" agency, Mongolian Radio took 2nd and 3rd place in this competition out of 20 participants. Ms. Oyuntuya.N, teacher at the secondary school #03, Moron sum, Khovsgol province, and Ms. Oyunjargal, journalist in newspaper "Zuunii Medee" received a special prize from the CEDAW Watch. Ms. Tsengelmaa.D students at secondary school "Anima" who participated in the poster competition received great appreciation from the commission and received a special prize from the organization. Citizen Mr. Purev.L from 8th sub-district, Songino-Khairhan district was awarded also with a special prize for his active and successful participation in the article competition.
